Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a driver/shuttle operations support role in Houston, TX. Responsibilities include scheduling vehicles and drivers for fixed routes, communicating with employees, and managing shifts. Prior shuttle/transport experience and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Availability for second/third shifts and weekends may be required. Must read, write, and speak English; maintain a neat appearance in uniform.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Experience with shuttle or dispatched transportation operations preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Availability for 2nd/3rd shift and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule vehicles and drivers for fixed route service.
• Cover open shifts on short notice when necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of basic office equipment and MS Word/Excel.
• Be at work on time and in uniform.
• Assist customers and direct to the Facility Manager as needed.
• Facilitate driver meetings and training, know service area and major streets.
