Job summary

SP Plus Corporation in Houston is seeking a shuttle operations assistant to help manage daily shuttle activities and ensure service quality at our facilities. You will support client relations, safety, and maintenance tasks while adhering to contract requirements.

The role requires a minimal high school diploma, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and a DOT medical card. Ability to work varied shifts and weekends is expected, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimal high school diploma or equivalent and a minimal month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
• A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
• Availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
• Oral Communication: Speaks clearly; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions.
• Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.
• Customer Service: Maintains positive attitude. Responds to requests for service and assistance.

• Physical Demands: Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and other typical job-related physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day management of a shuttle operation within contractual guidelines and company policies.
• Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of the assigned locations.
• Courteously assist customers and maintain a professional image.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of equipment and general maintenance tasks as directed.
• Report accidents or safety concerns to the Facility Manager.
• Maintain knowledge of shuttle operations, routes, and key landmarks.
• Complete other duties as needed.
