Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Lead at our Chelsea, MA location to deter theft and fraud in high-risk areas while maintaining a safe shopping environment.

You will train associates, report incidents, assist in audits and the semi-annual inventory, and partner with store leadership to educate teams on shortage reduction programs. The role requires a confident, energetic presence and a flexible schedule. Base pay starts at $16 per hour plus benefits.

• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide deterrence to dishonest behaviors through confident presence and training.
• Maintain a safe, secure store environment with attention to detail.
• Engage with customers and associates in high-risk areas.
• Gather indicators of theft and report to leadership.
• Assist in store audits and in the semi-annual inventory process.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of shortage reduction programs.
