Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Lead to mitigate theft in high-shrink areas and promote a safe store environment for customers and associates.

You will train shortage associates, report incidents, and support inventory and loss-prevention programs. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required; competitive hourly pay and associate discount available.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail loss prevention or asset protection preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to multitask and work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrates integrity, discretion, and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Deter theft by maintaining a confident presence and providing a positive customer experience.
• Maintain a safe, secure store with attention to detail and strong store-partner collaboration.
• Engage with customers and associates in high-risk areas to promote shrink-reduction programs.
• Gather and document indicators of theft and share with leadership for action.
• Support store manager with audits, POS monitoring, and loss-prevention initiatives.
• Lead onboarding and ongoing training for shortage-reduction processes and prepare action plans for inventory events.
