Job summary

Havertys is seeking a Display Delivery Assistant in Charlottesville, VA to set up merchandise in showrooms and accompany delivery drivers to customers' homes. The role emphasizes superior Customer Service, Integrity, Quality, and Teamwork as part of a fast-paced showroom environment.

You will help with floor moves, lighting, and accessories placement, while keeping the showroom clean and organized and supporting any delivery-related tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in retail, warehouse or delivery roles preferred.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 150 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Keep merchandise on the floor in functional condition and order parts when needed.
• Support moving and arranging merchandise on the showroom floor.
• Assist with deliveries to customers' homes and unload furniture from trucks.
• Maintain safe, clean showroom and stockroom; keep exits lit and clear.
• Assist with floor moves, lighting adjustments, and placement of POP material.
• Help customers carry merchandise to their vehicles and provide light housekeeping as needed.
• Support Grounds maintenance and ensure a professional appearance in the showroom.
