Job summary

Havertys Furniture in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Display Delivery Assistant to help set up showroom merchandise and assist with furniture deliveries to customers’ homes. You will ride with delivery drivers, ensuring safe unloading and placement, and support showroom upkeep.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Retail, warehouse or delivery experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 150 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with showroom merchandising and floor moves.
• Support deliveries to customers' homes.
• Unload furniture from trucks and place it in customers' homes.
• Assist Display Coordinator with lighting and floor moves.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and stockroom organization.
• Assist in maintaining grounds and keeping exits lit.
