Job summary

Florida Tile is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to promote and specify its tile products to contractors, builders, dealers, architects and designers in the Greensboro area. You will help clients select products, facilitate sales, and build strong long-term relationships.

The role emphasizes innovative thinking, superior customer service, and the ability to identify new business opportunities while meeting monthly sales targets and contributing to market growth through effective

Qualifications

• Direct sales experience of at least 3 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred.
• Ability to achieve goals with little supervision.
• Strong analytical skills to plan and forecast markets.

Responsibilities

• Target, call on, and develop relationships with major builders, contractors, dealers, architects, designers and other channels.
• Develop and maintain a trade client base via in-house meetings, telephone and internet communications.
• Proactively identify new opportunities and sales channels.
• Promote the branch showroom for use as a selection center for the A&D trade, including events and promotions.
• Meet and exceed a monthly sales budget to meet annual goals.
• Showroom merchandising and new product displays to promote introductions.
• Introduce and initiate company programs and new product introductions.
• Assess competitors and keep the Branch Manager informed of activity.
• Prospecting, qualifying and establishing new customers.
