Job summary

HOM Furniture is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver excellent service for customers. You will answer phones, finalize orders, schedule deliveries, process returns, and assist showroom consultants.

The role involves processing finance applications, handling order changes, and occasionally working on the sales floor following HOM Furniture's methods. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be working towards or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Six months of customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones and directing callers to the proper department or to answer questions.
• Finalizing orders, taking payments, and scheduling deliveries and pickups.
• Processing returns and initial paperwork for warranty claims.
• Making changes and cancellations to orders when appropriate.
• Updating customers on changes to their order status.
• Processing finance applications.
• Supporting showroom Sales Consultants with questions and orders as needed.
• Processing sales for accessories and other small purchases.
• Occasionally working the sales floor following HOM Furniture's sales methods.
• Other duties as assigned.
