Job summary

GES - Global Experience Specialists is seeking an Operations Lead for Show-Site activities, focusing on coordinating the freight, logistics and decoration aspects of events to deliver high levels of customer service.

The role requires managing show labor, budgets and documentation, while collaborating with Senior Operations Manager and various client teams to ensure plans align with budgets and service requirements.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 3–7 years in an operational environment with supervisory experience (hire, fire, discipline, coach, train and develop talent).
• Experience reading floor plans and construction drawings; CAD and Adobe experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• LEAN Six Sigma or other continuous improvement experience is a plus.
• Must interface effectively with supervisors, customers and senior managers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop all operational aspects of Show-Site operations.
• Lead Accounts (Level Owner, Hall Owner, Event Owner).
• Fulfill role in Show Planning process as required on assigned shows.
• Manage labor and show margins to meet or exceed plan.
• Ensure proper billing and documentation for invoicing.
