Short/Sides Cook

Job Responsibilities

Prepare all potatoes, vegetables, and hot appetizer items. Ensure food is cooked according to Ruth's Chris standards, following proper procedures and timing to meet quality specifications.

Qualifications

• Proficient in cooking techniques and knife skills
• Maintain a clean work station and adhere to FDA and health code requirements
• Ability to work well with others, demonstrate a team-first attitude, and uphold high standards of hospitality

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry food supplies, smallwares, and equipment weighing 50-100 pounds
• Stand and move efficiently for up to four hours
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and squatting to receive stock and work during service
• Effective communication skills with staff, vendors, and guests
