Job summary

Motion Industries seeks a Shop Operations Manager to develop, manage, and deliver shop support services. You will coordinate administration, liaise between customers, sales staff, shop employees and distribution, and oversee pricing, invoicing, and inventory control.

The role requires strong MS Office skills, excellent communication, leadership ability, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks while ensuring smooth shop operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 5+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• MS Office proficiency is required.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all shop support activities at the location.
• Train staff on sales systems and processes.
• Provide customer support including order processing and delivery updates.
• Implement and maintain pricing per policy.
• Manage collections and accounts payable for the shop.
• Prepare reports as needed.
• Assist customers and suppliers to resolve issues with orders.
• Manage inventory to meet annual turn goals.
• Fill in for other lower level roles when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
