Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Shop Mechanic for the Fort Worth, TX shop to inspect, maintain, and repair heavy equipment. This on-site, full-time role supports construction crews by keeping machines safe, reliable, and ready for the next project.

The candidate will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and maintain repair records while working with skid steers, mini excavators, and trailers. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanic experience, preferably in construction equipment or fleet maintenance.
• Experience with skid steers, mini excavators, compact equipment, trailers, and pickups.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Our crews build gravity and mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) retaining wall systems for commercial, infrastructure, and development projects.

The Shop Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing company equipment to keep field operations running efficiently. This role is based out of the Fort Worth shop and supports construction crews by ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and job‑ready.
