Worldwide Machinery is hiring a Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining earthmoving and pipeline equipment in yard and shop, with a preference for experience on Caterpillar, John Deere, and related equipment.

The position requires diagnosing mechanical, emission, electrical, and hydraulic issues, performing preventive maintenance, and using diagnostic tools across multiple manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Experience servicing and repairing heavy construction equipment.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar, John Deere and OTR equipment preferred.
• Working knowledge of T4 and T4F emission systems.
• Experience with OEM parts lookup and ordering systems.
• Ability to work independently and safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, emission, electrical and hydraulic issues.
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance.
• Use computer diagnostic tools for multiple manufacturers.
• Identify, research and order parts as needed.
• Complete service reports, work orders and machine documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by service or fleet managers.

Summary: The ideal Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of earthmoving and pipeline equipment in yard and shop. Experience with Caterpillar, Joen Deer, Bell, etc. is preferred.

Responsibilities:
