Saia Motor Freight Line LLC in Memphis is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day shop operations, coach technicians, and ensure timely, quality preventative maintenance and repairs.

You will coordinate with parts, train staff on diagnostic software and repair techniques, monitor expenses, and maintain accurate repair documentation while prioritizing equipment availability and safety across shifts.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of equipment maintenance experience, preferably in a freight or logistics environment.
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or lead technician role.
• Familiarity with diagnostic software and repair of brake systems, transmissions, and rear ends.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant maintenance systems.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises shop technicians, including coaching, oversight, and daily work direction.
• Assists with training and supporting performance development and discipline of team members.
• Monitors shop operations to ensure timely and quality completion of preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinates with the parts team to manage inventory levels and ensure availability of needed materials.
• Provides hands-on instruction in diagnostic software, tools, and repair techniques to promote technician development.
• Supports expense monitoring by reviewing trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborates with terminal personnel to prioritize equipment availability and readiness.
• Ensures proper documentation and workflow approval for repair orders, including vendor and warranty work.
