Job summary

Saia is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations and a team of technicians across one or more shifts. You will supervise repair activities, coordinate shop workflows, and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

Responsibilities include coaching technicians, coordinating with parts, training, monitoring preventative maintenance, and documenting repair orders.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Read, write, communicate and comprehend English to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervises shop technicians, including coaching and daily work direction.
• Monitors shop operations to ensure timely and quality maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinates with parts team to manage inventory and material availability.
• Provides hands‑on instruction in diagnostic software and repair techniques.
• Ensures proper documentation and workflow approval for repair orders.
