Job summary

Mallory Alexander International Logistics is seeking aMaintenance Technician Supervisor to provide hands-on technical leadership for the maintenance, repair, and optimal function of automated logistics systems in a Memphis-based facility. The role coordinates daily work for technicians, emphasizes safety and uptime, and requires 5+ years of experience with automated systems, PLCs, and mechatronics.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, with rotating shifts and after-hours

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with complex automated/mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of automated systems, PLCs, and mechatronics.
• Proficient with MS Office and maintenance management systems.
• Excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and respond to after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, expert-level diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues, and lead root cause analysis.
• Lead inspections, testing, preventive maintenance, and repairs on automated storage/retrieval systems and conveyors.
• Coordinate daily work assignments of facility technicians to maximize uptime and efficiency.
• Ensure safety regulations, legal requirements, and quality standards are met in maintenance activities.
• Conduct on-the-job training and coaching of team members on technical systems and SOPs.
• Interface with external contractors to ensure quality and compliance of contracted work.
