Job summary

Salt & Straw is opening its first Utah shops in Salt Lake City and seeks an Assistant General Manager to help launch, recruit, train, and coach a high-performing team. You will partner with the GM to drive guest experiences, ensure top-notch hospitality, and maintain operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires leadership, flexibility to work evenings/weekends/holidays, and a passion for community-focused hospitality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of food service, fast-casual dining, or hospitality experience.
• Experience leading teams in a high-volume environment.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts, ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and retention of a high-performing team.
• Manage cash transactions, inventory, and payroll-related tasks.
• Monitor labor and sales to support monthly P&L insights.
