Job summary

Cosmo Prof in Salt Lake City is looking for an Assistant Manager to lead store operations, develop associates, and uphold our brand standards while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will support the Store Manager with hiring, training, scheduling and driving sales through omnichannel initiatives.

The role requires strong communication, team leadership, and a commitment to safety and loss prevention.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives.
Can effectively communicate with team and management.
Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business.
Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist Store Manager in hiring, developing and leading store associates to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Support brand standards, omnichannel selling, and daily store operations.
Oversee inventory, merchandising, and adherence to processes.
Manage payroll hours and scheduling to fit business needs.
Ensure opening/closing procedures are performed correctly and on time.
Follow company directives and achieve targets while maintaining safety.
