Job summary

Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Associate in New York to deliver exceptional customer experiences and keep the store organized and inviting. You will help customers find the perfect shoes, promote our brands, and demonstrate strong product knowledge.

You will collaborate with teammates, support inventory tasks, and share feedback to improve performance while upholding store standards and the Famous Footwear culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with store team members.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to collaborate with Store Sales Manager.
• Proactive in delivering excellent customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, fulfillment, inventory) are accurate.
• Engage customers and promote the store’s culture and brands.
• Review store performance and contribute to achieving sales goals.
• Maintain integrity by following policies and procedures.
• Support training and development of teammates as needed.
• Be the go-to person for finding the perfect product for customers.
