Job summary

Scheels is seeking team-oriented associates to support shoe departments. You will retrieve stock, process returns, and assist customers with a welcoming attitude.

You will prep devices and collaborate with shop managers to meet department needs, while managing inventory accurately and maintaining a positive, customer-first environment. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of retail experience is preferred; you should be able to work varied hours, including evenings and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months of related retail/sales experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve shoes from back stock and transport to staging area.
• Process unpurchased items and customer returns to correct locations for inventory accuracy.
• Assist in Men’s, Women’s, and Youth shoe departments as needed.
• Engage customers with a warm, welcoming demeanor and offer assistance.
• Ensure technology and devices are prepped and functional before shift.
• Collaborate with Specialty Shop Managers to address urgent department needs.
• Present information clearly to customers and team members.
• Work independently and with others across the organization.
• Perform basic calculations as needed.
• Work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
