Job summary

Scheels is hiring a Sales Associate to deliver an outstanding customer experience and drive sales in a fast-paced retail environment. You will build product knowledge, train others, and maintain inventory accuracy while promoting Scheels Visa and loyalty programs.

The role requires weekend availability and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and guiding them through the sale.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge in selling areas and lead product knowledge training for associates.
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals while delivering a high-quality customer experience.
• Manage inventory by running and analyzing internal flash reports.
• Maintain organized backstock and ensure merchandise is displayed and replenished on the sales floor.
• Ensure products are displayed with price tags, stickers, and signage.
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented atmosphere.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues, vendors, and the Scheels Campus.
• Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform basic math for transactions and currency calculations.
• Work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; participate in product knowledge meetings.
