Scheels in Omaha, NE is hiring a Retail Shoes Associate to support the shoe departments by retrieving stock, processing returns, and assisting customers. The role emphasizes a welcoming demeanor, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1-3 months of related retail/sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Effectively retrieve shoes from back stocks and transport them to the staging area for sales associates
• Process unpurchased items and customer returns to their correct locations while maintaining an organized work environment to ensure inventory accuracy
• Assist in Men's, Women's, and Youth shoe departments as needed
• Proactively engage customers with a warm, welcoming demeanor and offer immediate assistance
• Ensure all necessary technology and devices are prepped and functional prior to the start of each shift
• Partner closely with Specialty Shop Managers to identify and address urgent department needs
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present information clearly to customers and team members
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively across all levers of the organization
• The ability to perform basic calculations
• Ability to work assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the leadership team
