Job summary

Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Associate who loves shoes and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will create a welcoming in-store culture, help customers find the perfect fit, and work with a team to meet sales goals across all Famous Footwear brands.

You’ll participate in daily operations, stay informed on trends, and bring positive energy to the team while maintaining integrity and a high standard of service for every guest who visits the store.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with store staff.
• Strong oral and written communication with customers and teammates.
• Able to exercise independent judgment with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Solid understanding of general retail practices and procedures.
• Flexibility to work holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ace retail operations: manage pricing, shipments, fulfillment and inventory to keep the store clean and organized.
• Be a Famous culture influencer by delivering outstanding customer engagement and top-notch experiences.
• Elevate performance by reviewing store results and driving sales with urgency and clarity.
• Act with integrity by following policies and seeking feedback for continuous improvement.
