Job summary

Famous Footwear is seeking a dynamic Retail Associate to help run daily store operations, including pricing, shipments, fulfillment and inventory. You will help maintain a clean, organized store where famous styles are easy to find and purchase, delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will engage customers with enthusiasm, drive sales through product knowledge, and collaborate with teammates to meet store goals while upholding company policies and a positive culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to build constructive and effective relationships with store staff.
• Strong verbal and written communication with associates at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment partnering with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Solid knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to work holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in to keep the store running smoothly.
• Deliver on company standards to keep the store clean, organized and our styles easily shoppable.
• Provide stellar customer engagement and drive sales through attentiveness and product knowledge.
• Communicate clearly with the team to share updates and feedback.
• Uphold store policies and seek feedback for professional development.
