Job summary

Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional in-store experience. You’ll drive store operations, engage customers with enthusiasm, and help shoppers find the perfect footwear across our brands. You’ll share trends, stay informed, and promote a welcoming culture that makes every customer feel valued.

You love shoes and excel at teamwork, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to keep the store running smoothly and meeting goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within store.
• Demonstrates an ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Must exercise independent judgment and discretion with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ace Retail Operations: pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory.
• Be a Famous Culture Influencer by embodying our Customer Connection.
• Review store performance and drive sales with purpose and urgency.
• Act with integrity and seek feedback to improve skills.
• Be a Shoe-off: recommend styles and ensure customers leave with the perfect fit.
