Gulf Marine Repair in Tampa, FL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on floating equipment, lifting equipment, over-the-road equipment, and shipyard gear. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on a 1st shift.

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll service tugs, barges, cranes, forklifts, rigging gear, and more, with emphasis on safety and quality. Must have own tools and valid driver’s license; 2+ years shipyard experience preferred; overtime may

Competenze

• Own tools and maintain them.
• Overhaul pumps, engines, valves, and dial-in pump motors.
• Overhaul gearboxes on valve actuators and capstans.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 2+ years in a shipyard environment (preferred).
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexible schedule to include overtime and weekends.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on shipyard equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, air compressors, and trucks for repair.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
