Job summary

NABRICO Marine Products, located in Ashland City, Tennessee, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve mechanical systems in our barge manufacturing operations.

You will work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems, perform welding and fabrication as needed, and ensure equipment reliability while adhering to safety standards and LOTO procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or maintenance-related certification preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, fabrication, marine, steel, or related environment preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial mechanical equipment.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, power transmission systems, pumps, and mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and conveyor systems.
• Install, align, adjust, and replace bearings, motors, gearboxes, pumps, chains, sprockets, and other components.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
