Job Description

This position accurately and efficiently completes shipping and receiving activities for our Rochester, NH office. Standard hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Regular Duties:

• Regular on-site attendance/punctuality is a necessary function of this position.
• Receiving, unpacking and moving IT and other equipment. This includes working safely in and around the warehouse docks.
• Shipping both domestically and internationally, using various vendors, including FedEx, DHL and UPS.
• Recording equipment specifications and conditions into our ERP system and/or appropriate Excel spreadsheets.
• Performing diagnostic testing, disassembling computer equipment and harvesting and testing parts.
• Stocking inventory as needed.
• Safely operating and utilizing various warehouse equipment including forklift, baler and compactor.
• May be required to work in other functional areas of the warehouse depending on business needs.
• Other job-related tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies:

• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with various internal and external computer hardware.
• Proficient in basic math.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to and adhere to safely "team lift" anything above 50 pounds.
• Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
• Duties of this position are performed in a manufacturing environment with regular exposure to elements such as noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, etc.
• Duties may require periodic sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
• Standing, sitting, stooping/squatting and walking can be expected along with reaching with hands and arms and undergoing repetitive wrist, hand, elbow, shoulder and ankle motions.
• Above demands are carried out within the local existing Health and Safety guidelines.

Experience:

• No less than one year experience with shipping and receiving, both domestically and internationally.
• No less than one year experience in a warehouse, distribution or manufacturing setting.
• Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
