Tapecon, Inc. is seeking a shipping/packaging associate responsible for preparing finished goods for shipment, verifying against shipping orders, and packing with proper labels.
You will determine shipping methods, weights, and charges, while maintaining accurate shipping records and operating the ERP system. Responsibilities include coordinating with carriers, ensuring compliance with customer specs, and performing forklift tasks as needed.
Prepares finished goods for shipment. Verifies completion of shipment against shipping order. Packs shipments, affixes shipping labels, selects method of shipment, weights and determines shipping charges, and issues bill of lading. Maintains shipping records.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Occasionally the employee will lift and/or move over 25 pounds with the use of a lift assist. Occasionally the employee will lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to and over 100 pounds with the help of equipment. This job requires close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
The base pay range below reflects the potential hourly compensation for this position. Compensation will vary based on factors including experience.
