Job summary

Hussey Seating Company in Maine is seeking a Shipping Specialist I to stage and palletize materials, load and unload trailers, and maintain accurate inventory records. You will verify quantities against shipping documents and prepare items for shipment in a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse environment.

The hourly, non-exempt position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a forklift operator license, and the ability to work Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick items for orders and complete shipping documents as needed.
• Load and unload trailers as they arrive at the facility.
• Stage materials and pallets for shipments; maintain inventory accuracy.
• Inspect product on arrival and report problems to Quality.
• Support 6S, remove trash and recyclables as necessary.
• Participate in idea implementation and teamwork for safety and continuous improvement.

The anticipated starting range for this position is $22.95 to $28.05 per hour.
