Job summary

Staples is seeking a Customer Returns and Shipping Associate in Union, NJ to support shipping needs and unpackaged returns in-store. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, teamwork, and a fun, fast-paced retail culture.

Qualifications

• Able to engage with customers and understand their needs to drive additional sales.
• Ability to lift, push, and move materials up to 100 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all Full-Serve Shipping and Unpackaged Returns activities, including customer engagement and preparing packages for pick-up for 3rd party carriers.
• Provide strong customer service and assist customers with shipping needs, including returns and processing.
• Explain different shipping options and identify customer needs to up-sell where appropriate.
• Maintain the Shipping area for efficient processing and storage of packages and ensure stock of supplies.
