Job summary

Responsibilities include 24-hour ship readiness, staffing alignment, 5S compliance, cross-training, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.
• Strong math skills and ability to work with measurements.
• ERP software and MS Office proficiency required.
• Strong leadership and independent work capability.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing/continuous improvement philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shipping and receiving employees and allocate resources.
• Analyze KPI’s and monitor 24-hour ship performance and on-time delivery.
• Assign staffing to meet departmental goals and support OTD targets.
• Promote team building and conduct 5S and safety checks.
• Develop and implement new methods to improve service, cost, quality, and safety.
• Operate forklift and box truck as needed and ensure DOT compliance.
