Job summary

Accelevation is seeking a Shift Supervisor for Shipping & Receiving on 2nd shift in Miamisburg, OH. The role leads daily receiving operations, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely material receipt to support production.

You will enforce policies, drive dock efficiency, and collaborate across Inventory, Planning, Quality, and Production teams. You will coach a receiving team, verify documentation, and resolve discrepancies while maintaining strict safety and quality standards in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Lead and supervise daily receiving operations with focus on safety, quality, and throughput.
• Verify inbound materials against documents and system receipts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily receiving operations to achieve safety, quality, and throughput targets.
• Own inbound material receipt from suppliers and carriers, ensuring timely unloading, verification, and system receipt.
• 100% verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify, document, and resolve receiving discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ensure materials are inspected, labeled, stored, and transferred appropriately.
• Reduce dock-to-stock time while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Enforce safety policies, material handling standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and improve KPIs like receipt accuracy and dock efficiency.
• Coordinate with Inventory, Buying, Planning, Quality, and Production teams.
• Train and coach team members to standard work and safety practices.
