Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Ohio (Fairborn area) is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to verify, document, and manage incoming and outgoing shipments at the dock using warehouse management systems.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to multitask safely, and basic Excel skills with at least six months of warehouse experience. This is a full-time, on-site position with multiple operational duties across the warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum six months in a warehouse or distribution environment required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Document management: prepare, create, retrieve, validate, and store operation documents.
• Label, pack, and load items for shipment per specifications.
• Stage shipments for shipping and prepare docks for receiving.
• Accept shipments and prepare docks for receiving.
• Operate stretch wrap banders and prepare pallets/crates for shipping.
• Unload delivery vehicles and move items to appropriate areas.
• Inspect for damage, compare items against records, document discrepancies.
• Maintain records of all items received and shipped via WMS and inventory systems.
• Check receipts against purchase orders for accuracy and shortages.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Keep work area and equipment clean; follow safety regulations.
• Ensure facility is inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Monitor inventory for CGMP environments (FIFO, Lot, Age) if applicable.
• May assist with inventory cycle counts.
• Other duties as assigned.
