Job summary

Auria, a global supplier of highly-engineered automotive systems, seeks a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor for the Sidney, OH plant. You will oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with Customer Service and Manufacturing to meet daily customer requirements.

Preferred associates degree with 3–5 years supervisory experience in a unionized manufacturing setting, plus proficiency in ERP systems (QAD, Plex) and MS Office. Eligible for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; 3–5 years shipping and receiving supervisory experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems (QAD, Plex) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversees inbound and outbound shipping activities for accuracy and condition of shipments.
• Attends meetings and provides updates on shipping status to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinates with Customer Service and Manufacturing to resolve daily shipping issues.
• Inspects loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.
• Directs movement of shipments from docks to storage/work areas; advises on short shipments.
• Maintains documentation for inbound/outbound materials and customs where applicable.
• Supports safety guidelines for forklift operation and warehouse equipment.
• Manages FIFO and inventory rotation to minimize obsolescence.
