Job summary

Comprehensive Logistics Inc. (CLI) seeks an experienced operations leader to supervise shipping, receiving, VAA, and related systems. You will coordinate with transportation, manage WMS/MES/HRIS, and drive plant improvements while ensuring safety and on-time deliveries.

Required: 3+ years leading hourly staff in automotive/logistics; proficiency in VAA services; excellent communication and organizational skills; able to multi-task in a fast-paced setting. 1st shift; OT as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations leadership in Automotive, 3PL, or Heavy Industrial/Manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Third Party VAA Services: Part Sequencing, JIT, Value-Added, Sub-Assembly, Kitting, Repack, Deconsolidation, Bulk & Small Lot Metering.
• 3+ years leading hourly personnel; able to train others; flexible and self-motivated.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shipping/receiving systems via local and customer WMS.
• Oversee Value-Added Assembly (VAA) personnel and equipment.
• Monitor VAA operation; manage WMS, MES, and HRIS systems.
• Coordinate activities with other departments including transportation.
• Manage local/corporate QMS; ensure plant cleanliness and safety adherence.
• Plan improvements and expansions; participate in cross-functional problem solving.
• Provide on-the-job training and ensure timely customer shipments.
• Assess need to hot-shot material; activate Five Alarm process when required.
• Maintain commodity distribution to meet customer needs; other duties as required.
