Job summary

Ambient is seeking a detail-oriented procurement and logistics coordinator to manage parts orders, track shipments, and handle inbound/outbound inspections. You will reconcile parts with orders, process RMAs, and coordinate with engineering and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires strong organizational skills, experience in shipping/receiving, and proficiency with MS Office. A fast-paced shop environment and cross-functional collaboration are part of daily work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in manufacturing or shipping/receiving roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience placing and tracking parts orders with vendors.
• Familiarity with inbound/outbound inspection procedures and NCR documentation.
• Familiarity with vendor and freight claim procedures (RMAs, damage claims).
• Familiarity with freight documentation and carrier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Source and place orders for fabrication parts and consumables; obtain quotes and lead times.
• Maintain real-time parts tracking log and notify shop floor of delays or substitutions.
• Reconcile received parts with purchase orders and document discrepancies.
• Manage vendor and freight claims; compile documentation and correspondence.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound inspections, verify packaging and labeling.
• Coordinate with warehouse for inbound/outbound freight and track shipments.
