Job summary

RRD is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate for the 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM) in St. Charles, IL. You will handle material movement, receiving, packing, and shipping printed products via FedEx/UPS/etc., ensuring conformance to customer specs and service levels.

The role requires basic computer skills, tolerance for lifting up to 50 lbs, and the ability to operate material handling equipment. Candidates should have 2+ years in shipping/manufacturing support and solid attention to

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in shipping/manufacturing operations.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures and program objectives.
• Experience with materials tracking systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipment and receipt duties for materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.
• Pack, label, and prepare shipments; verify against bills of lading and shipping documents.
• Unloading, inspecting, and logging received materials; maintain records of goods received.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; stage materials for loading.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate shipments.
• Maintain organized files and documentation; support safety and quality initiatives.
• Attend production meetings as needed to align shipping/receiving with production.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and secure receiving/shipping docks.
