Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate for 1st shift (6:00AM–2:30PM). You will handle materials movement, receiving, packing, and shipping printed products, ensuring compliance with customer specs and service levels.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of administrative/operational support in shipping/manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of information systems including materials tracking and inventory control.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to safely operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping/receiving duties and prepare shipments.
• Check goods against bills of lading and packing lists.
• Unload and receive materials; maintain records of goods received.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and production.
• Attend production meetings when needed to coordinate shipping/receiving.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and security at docks.
• Communicate issues to management and support departments.
