Job summary

Staff Perm is seeking a Distribution Associate to handle shipping and receiving for a global climate control products company. Based at DFW Airport, TX, you will manage shipment and receipt of materials, equipment, and finished products on first shift.

Responsibilities include handling manual and clerical duties, verifying items, packing to specifications, and maintaining documentation. Stand-up forklift experience and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes.
• Standup forklift experience required.
• Drug test and background check must be passed.
• Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts.
• Basic reading, writing and numerical skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of goods.
• Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect their condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.
