ProTrans is seeking a Dock/Logistics Coordinator to coordinate movement of customer materials through our service center network. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 1:00–9:30 PM with a $18.50 base rate and a $0.50 shift differential, totaling $19/hour.

The role involves coordinating pickups and deliveries, liaising with dock operations and customers, tracking data, and preparing inbound/outbound documentation. We value clerical accuracy and strong communication within a busy logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of database software, internet software, inventory software, order processing systems, spreadsheet software and word processing software.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates, schedules, and dispatches of all service requirements from local pickups through deliveries.
• Must be direct liaison between dock operations and internal / external customer.
• Responsible for tracking, data input, and reporting of information to external and internal customers.
• Responsible for inter-company and intra-company communication.
• Works with planning group on coordinating facility outbound volume.
• Provides customer service to internal and external customers.
• Prepare all inbound and outbound documentation.
• Additional clerical duties as assigned.
• Validation and verification of materials on dock to include labeling, pulling packing slips, moving boxes, opening boxes.
• Generate reports providing Dock Coordinator’s with the critical shipping information.
• This job may require overseeing of loading activities (varies by center).
