Job summary

PROTRANS INTERNATIONAL LLC is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to coordinate movement of customer materials from suppliers through our Service Center Network. The role includes dispatch, documentation, and cross‑functional coordination with dock operations and customers.

Responsibilities include tracking, data input, reporting, and intra/inter-company communication, with a focus on inbound/outbound shipments and providing excellent customer service to internal and external

Qualifications

Knowledge of database software; internet software; inventory software; order processing systems; spreadsheet software and word processing software.

Responsibilities

Coordinates, schedules, and dispatched service requirements from local pickups through deliveries.
Must be direct liaison between dock operations and internal / external customer.
Responsible for tracking, data input, and reporting of information to external and internal customers.
Responsible for inter-company and intra-company communication.
Works with planning group on coordinating facility outbound volume.
Provides customer service to internal and external customers.
Prepare all inbound and outbound documentation.
Additional clerical duties as assigned.
Validation and verification of materials on dock to include labeling, pulling packing slips, moving boxes, opening boxes.
Generate reports providing Dock Coordinators with the critical shipping information.
This job may require overseeing loading activities.
