Job summary

PROTRANS INTERNATIONAL LLC is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist in Indianapolis, IN to coordinate the movement of materials from suppliers through our Service Center Network. You will liaise between dock operations and customers, maintain accurate data, and prepare all inbound/outbound documentation.

Key duties include dispatching service requirements, reporting critical shipping information, and coordinating outbound volumes with planning.

Qualifications

Must be able to use database and inventory software for tracking shipments.
Proficient in creating and validating inbound/outbound documentation.
Experience with data input and producing reports for customers.

Responsibilities

Coordinates, schedules, and dispatches service requirements from pickups through deliveries.
Liaises between dock operations and internal/external customers.
Tracks data and reports information to customers and management.
Manages inter-company communications and coordinates outbound volume with planning.
Provides customer service to internal and external customers.
Prepares inbound and outbound documentation.
Performs additional clerical duties as assigned.
Validates materials on dock, labeling, packing slips, and box movements.
Generates reports for dock coordinators with shipping information.
Oversees loading activities as needed.
