Job summary

ProTrans International is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to coordinate material movement across our Service Center Network in Eagle Pass, TX. The role requires organizing pickups, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining clear communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities include tracking data, preparing inbound/outbound docs, and generating routine reports for dock operations.

Qualifications

Knowledge of multiple software systems used for inventory and order processing is preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, schedule, and dispatch service requirements from local pickups through deliveries.
Must be direct liaison between dock operations and internal / external customer.
Responsible for tracking, data input, and reporting of information to external and internal customers.
Responsible for inter-company and intra-company communication.
Work with planning group on coordinating facility outbound volume.
Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
Prepare all inbound and outbound documentation.
Additional clerical duties as assigned.
Validation and verification of materials on dock to include labeling, pulling packing slips, moving boxes, opening boxes.
Generate reports providing Dock Coordinators with the critical shipping information.
This job may require overseeing of loading activities (varies by center).
