Job summary

Veolia North America seeks a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to respond to customer inquiries, schedule pickups, and dispatch drivers on pre-set routes. You will print and prepare shipping documents, route sheets, and labels, while assisting customers and ensuring efficient daily operations.

The role involves overseeing CSRs, maintaining DOT Logs and VCRs, and ensuring compliance with DOT/EPA/state waste regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of related transportation/logistics experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of waste routing and disposal of Hazardous Materials is preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT, EPA, and State Waste Regulations is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries about pick-ups, schedules, and orders.
• Dispatch vehicles on pre-set routes for CSRs daily.
• Assist walk-in customers and with handheld/printer availability.
• Create load sheets, route sheets, and shipping documents.
• Dispatch drivers for extra or missed pickups and balance routes.
• Monitor CSR performance and escalate CICs to supervisor.
• Review driver paperwork and debrief drivers per SOPs.
• Maintain DOT Logs, VCRs, and related records.
