You will manage inbound receiving records, coordinate outbound shipments, verify customer-specific requirements, and monitor rail demurrage.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, logistics coordination, yard management, or warehouse operations (rail shipments/demurrage a plus).
• Attention to detail with high accuracy in inventory and paperwork.
• Strong verbal and written communication with drivers, yard crews, carriers, and office staff.
• Proficient with inventory/shipping management software and Microsoft Office.
• Safety-first mindset in manufacturing/yard environment.

Responsibilities

• Inbound Logistics & Receiving: Inspect shipments, verify documentation against physical counts, and ensure accurate receiving records.
• Outbound Logistics & Dispatch: Coordinate, schedule, and order trucks and rail cars for outgoing shipments. Prepare all necessary shipping manifests and paperwork.
• Quality & Accuracy Verification: Ensure all customer-specific shipping requirements are fulfilled. Maintain outbound photo logs and documentation to verify order correctness.
• Rail Fleet & Demurrage Management: Monitor rail car movement and document/track demurrage reasons to optimize logistics efficiency.
• Yard & Documentation Flow: Consolidate paperwork from the yard, promptly enter data into internal systems, and distribute records to the appropriate personnel.
• Safety Leadership: Actively participate in and support the facility’s safety culture, following all plant protocols and procedures.
• Team Support: Perform other related logistics and administrative duties as needed to support plant operations.
