Qualifications

• 1–3+ years in shipping/receiving, logistics coordination, yard management, or warehouse operations (rail shipments/demurrage is a plus).
• Attention to detail with accurate inventory counts and documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication with drivers, yard crews, carriers, and office staff.
• Proficiency with shipping management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Inbound Logistics & Receiving: Inspect shipments, verify docs vs counts, and keep accurate receiving records.
• Outbound Logistics & Dispatch: Schedule trucks/rail cars and prepare shipping paperwork.
• Quality & Accuracy Verification: Fulfill customer-specific shipping requirements and maintain logs.
• Rail Fleet & Demurrage Management: Track rail car movement and demurrage reasons.
• Yard & Documentation Flow: Enter data in systems and distribute records.
• Safety Leadership: Support and follow facility safety protocols.
