Qualifications

Experience: 1-3+ years in shipping/receiving, logistics coordination, yard management, or warehouse operations (rail shipments/demurrage a strong plus).
Attention to detail with high accuracy in inventory counts, shipping paperwork, and data entry.
Strong verbal and written communication to interact with drivers, yard crews, carriers, and office staff.
Comfort with inventory/shipping management software and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

Inbound Logistics & Receiving: Inspect shipments, verify docs vs counts, and maintain receiving records.
Outbound Logistics & Dispatch: Schedule trucks/rail cars, prepare manifests and paperwork.
Quality & Accuracy Verification: Fulfill customer-specific shipping requirements and maintain outbound logs.
Rail Fleet & Demurrage Management: Track rail car movement and demurrage reasons to improve efficiency.
Yard & Documentation Flow: Enter data into internal systems and distribute records.
Safety Leadership: Support the facility's safety culture and follow all plant protocols.
Team Support: Assist with other logistics and admin duties to support operations.
