Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Garden Grove, CA is seeking a packaging technician to prepare parts for shipment, including measuring, weighing, and counting products. You will inspect containers to meet packing specs and keep documentation with materials, while recording data on specified forms.

Additional duties include sealing, assembling cartons, cleaning work areas, and following supervisor instructions. Ensure part integrity after processing, with ITAR compliance verification as required.

Qualifications

• Must pass ITAR requirements check.

• Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.).
• Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctly.

• Seal containers or materials, using stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools
• Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks
• Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.)
• Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctly
• Perform other duties as assigned
