Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is seeking a full-time 2nd shift associate in Garden Grove, CA to prepare parts for production and assist the operator. The role requires prioritizing jobs, selecting racks, and securing items for processing while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include paperwork, PPE compliance, and maintaining a clean work area, with ITAR considerations in the environment. Prior manufacturing exposure is not required, as on-the-job training is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (required).
• Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs with PPE in a manufacturing setting.
• Must follow safety guidelines and wear PPE at all times.

Job Summary

Job Description

• Determine priority of jobs to begin preparing for processing
• Select appropriate racking procedure according to size, shape and number of objects to be processed
• Wire or clip objects to rack or hoist for processing
• Remove parts from rack or bar after processing
• Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines
• Ensure proper PPE is worn and safety guidelines are followed
• Maintain a clean working area at all times by disposing of any unnecessary trash or wires
• Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

Must be able to consistently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50-75 lbs. This is a physically active job. That requires vision, average sight, touch, and MUST be able to wear PPE.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting.

This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Valence Surface Technologies is required to verify that applicants meet ITAR requirements prior to employment for this role.
